Vessel Data Collection
Engineers conduct an on-site inspection and review the ship’s historical performance data to determine the specific hydrodynamic needs of the hull and propeller.

Computation Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Modelling
Using the survey data, a high-fidelity 3D CAD model of the existing propeller and rudder arrangement is created to serve as the foundation for the new cap design.

Simulation and optimisation
The digital model undergoes Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations to calculate the optimal geometry and ensure the design maximizes thrust while reducing fuel consumption.

Confirmation and Acceptance of CFD Results
On completion of the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations, the results are submitted to the client for review. Once the client is satisfied with the percentage gain and RoI, a purchase order is issued for manufacturing.
